So I was playing with the POS today...

After sitting parked in a garage for almost 3 months, I finally got the coupe back out this afternoon. I still haven't given it it's post winter wash yet, but anyways, I was too lazy and sore to start taking care of the real issue, which is the clutch, so I did some little things.

This is a BMW OEM Aerodynamic package spoiler made by Pfeba. My overall goal is to put a little more black on the car to break up some of the red. Also in the plans are black side mirrors and glass mooonroof. I don't see this spoiler around very often, and it's mounting studs are in the same place as the "is" holes on the trunk, so I decided to try it out. What do you think? I'm kind of on the fence right now. Although the car is still filthy and still rocking bottlecaps for now, so I think I'll like it better from a wide open angle... it's kinda stuffed in the middle of the driveway:

I also added goodies to what was originally a bone stock centre console. I added a heated seat harness about a year ago, pulled this leather ebrake boot out of a box, dyed it and buffed it, yanked the leather ebrake handle out of the e36, and a pretty awesome OEM cassette holder. Put it all together and voila: (I think this turned out better than the spoiler.)

I just need a centre console armrest.

Anyways, the car is still a POS. I really kind of hate it... maybe I'm just in a bad mood.

I like the way your driveway looks with all these E30's lined up in it. I wish our driveway was bigger and i wish my 318 looked so nice on the inside, I need new seats badly

The spoiler looks a bit goofy to me because of how high it is on the sides. I like what you've done with the center console though. Which vehicle is the leather boot from? I have a few e36 handles sitting around and i'd like to do that with my e-brake handle.

I really like the spoiler from the close-straight-on-rear angle, not so sure in the others. Everything needs to be cleaned up and on nicer wheels to make final judgement. I know I've harassed you about this a bunch of times, but if you're going to rock this look those white stickers really need to come off. Stealthy gray stickers might look cool though.

Your tailpipe is ****ing ugly and I don't know about black wing mirrors.

Interior came out awesome, though. I thought the cassette holder was for 80s-mode vert? You need a tape deck if you're going to rock that thing or its kinda silly... I have some awesome mixtapes I recorded off the radio in grade 4-6 to keep you entertained. Haha.

Thats what I was trying to get away from. The "is" lip is like 3x smaller than this one.

I took advantage of one of the e30's being away for the weekend, so I thought I'd dump this one onto the driveway just to fill the void You may not need new seats, maybe you just need something cool like an old cell phone wired into the car to distract from the comfort seats.

Thank you... I moved the car out onto the street and got a better view of it with a better perspective... it looks much better from farther away.

What, my e28 M5 spoiler? I think that one would look better too, but I need to paint it, and drill 6 more holes, which I'm afraid of screwing up. This one mounted in less than 5 minutes

Yeah, again, I think it's all just the perspective of how I took the pictures. It looks better when I'm not standing so close to it. The leather boot is from an e30, but it used to look like crap until I polished it up. Normally the e36 handle is too short with the e30 rubber boot, but this boot was made extra long, so it just seemed to come together nicely.

hahaha....

and I thought my driveway was bad...lol.

I'm iffy about the spoiler too. I mean it looks good but different. I guess takes getting use too. I think because it doesn't tapper off to the sides? Maybe if you had the stripe package to continue the line down the quarter and long the sides?

I just finished doing bodywork, prep and paint on my driveway...and no dust!

Sorry Scott but that spoiler is the most fugly thing I've seen in a long time. Your is looks much much much better. The black thing won't work on your car and will make it look like a much older car.

Interior is way cool but Rob's right you need a cassette deck. If you need more mix tapes from the '80's mostly rap and hip hop from ckln 88.1 I've got over 100 of them.

Well now I know where to get my bling retro music from...LOL.

Yeah I think for some reason the red and black spoiler makes it look unusual. maybe if it were on a white car...that's it!! Scott..paint the car white and see how it looks!!!LOL

I'd say run the stripe package down the sides.

You always said you liked my tailpipe

Anyways, I don't know unless I try. The car looked good last year for the most part, but I need to mix it up a bit. I'd rock a tapedeck if it had a CD changer in the trunk. I've got an e34 changer, but I don't know if it'll work with any of the decks I have kicking around.
Once the clutch is done, the euroweaves will go back on, and I'll get a better feel for the spoiler. The "is" spoiler can always go back on.

Acutally, I cut and past the wrong quote. This was directed towards you:

"What, my e28 M5 spoiler? I think that one would look better too, but I need to paint it, and drill 6 more holes, which I'm afraid of screwing up. This one mounted in less than 5 minutes."
