Hey guys I'm looking for a diff for my project. The best diff would be a 2.93 or a 3.07 but it next to impossible to find.
I would also consider a 2.79. The diff needs to be a working LSD.
Let me know what you have.

It's for an E30, and 3.15 is a little on the high side.
For my application a 3.15 would be a lot of spin - shift - spin - shift - rev - shift - rev - shift - rev and noisy highway cruise

Yeah, at 5000 rpm it is only 375 rpm more from a 293 to a 315
I spent some time with the gearing calculator and your right a 3.15 would not be too bad. There are a few guys in Europe that say the ratio is too high for a M60 with 6 spd.
Anyone with a 2.93 LSD out there???

There is a dude who bought my 3.73LSD for his buddy out in Ottawa. The diff was for his stock 318. I explained it may be a bit low for that car but he wanted it nontheless.
He may have had second thoughts and wants to get rid of it now! It was in perfect condition with fresh fluid in it when I sold it. Hopefully he chimes in and lets us know the status of it now.
