2001 330i Manual - Topaz Blue Metallic - 104,XXX kms

Hi Everyone,

I am forcibly selling this car to purchase a home.

I'll try to keep it as short as possible in an attempt to include all info about the car.

2001 Topaz Blue Metallic BMW 330i - 5-speed Manual
Black leather interior
Aluminum trim
Sunroof
Heated Seats
Heated steering wheel
Self leveling Xenon headlights

I am the second owner. First owner was a middle aged doctor. I bought the car through a friend of mine (who owns a body shop) at the auction about 6 months ago, it was involved in a VERY minor collision with NO cars involved. The car hit a larger than normal curb trying to avoid hitting another car.
I really liked the condition of the car and simply had to bring her back to life. I couldn't believe this car was being salvaged).

Absolutely NO FRAME DAMAGE or any structural issues.

The only parts that were damaged:
  • Front passenger side lower control arm (car hit the curb, bent the lower control arm) and Control Arm bushing casing was bent
  • Front pass side fender
  • Front bumper (including pass side foglight)
Hood, Headlights, Rad Support were not damaged at all!

I have spent 6 weeks working on this car with some help from my friend, who did the body work in his body shop with the intention of keeping it for a long time, and have not cut any corners. everything was done RIGHT with OEM parts, clips, nuts, fluids.

I know some of you may still be skeptical but this is not the typical "rebuilt" car and I hope she will find the right home.

I have replaced the following parts:
OEM Front Bumper
OEM Front Fender
OEM Fog Light
Aftermarket Fender Liner
OEM Pass. Side Control Arm
OEM Control Arm Bushings (both sides)
New Sway Bar Links
OEM Front Upper Strut Mounts + Rear Shock Mounts
Brand New H&R Springs (H&R Part number 29484)
Brand new Koni Yellow (Adjustable) Struts and Shocks (Installed beginning of July 2011)
Redline Syntheti c Differential Fluid Change
Motul synthetic Transmission Fluid Change
NGK BKR6EQUP Iridium spark plugs
LubroMoly Full synthetic Oil and OEM Filter
All new Rubber Jack points (under the car)
RainX Wiper Blades

Equipment:
* Xenon Self Leveling headlights
* Heated Steering Wheel from an 05 X3
* Dension ICE-LINK Ipod integration
* Heated front seats
* OEM Style 73 17" alloys with Pirelli winter Tires (85% tread - See pics below)
* 19x8.5" Rial Daytona Race 3 piece wheels (condition 8.5/10, NO curb rash, centers have a few chips from debris, lips look good
* Brand new 235/35/19 Tires (3 weeks ago)
* Rear trunk spoiler (M-Tech I believe)
* OEM Carpet Mats and OEM Rubber Mats
* A/C blows cold

Probably more I am forgetting at the moment...

The not so good
Needs pass side bumper trim and rear pass side door sill.
Driver's seat upper bolster (left side) has some wear (forgot to take a pic of that area - will update)

The windshield had a crack in it prior to the accident - I have replaced it with a new top of the line one.

I decided to paint all panels (except roof and trunk lid) to freshen up the car and take care of some dings and scratches here and there.

Hood, Bumpers, Fenders were painted OFF the car.
All trim was disassembled prior to paint.

Roof and Trunk lid were not painted and match perfectly. (could use a buff, didn't get to it yet)

The car looks great and drives amazing!

If you are in the market for an e46, I urge you to come and have a look.

I have pictures, Structural inspection papers, safety certificate, CARFAX, e-test.

One previous owner, 105,xxx kms on her now (bought with 93,xxxkms)

Car was recently detailed

I am pricing the car to sell fast, PLEASE, no lowballing.
Yes, I know you can buy an 02 330 ci with 160-200k for $12k, but consider the suspension and wheels which are new.

I have spent a lot of time and money to make it near perfect. Nothing was spared.

PRICE:
Asking $10,500 With Everything, OBO

If I am unreasonable with the price, please explain why.

No Trades please- need cash for a down payment

Price can be negotiated without the RIAL wheels. (these are $3000 wheels, with Brand New tires)

Sorry for the long post

I will update if I remember more

Any questions please contact me

"I couldn't believe this car was being salvaged"

Yes it is branded - Rebuilt, but that doesn't necessarily mean the car is junk slapped backed together. If I didn't disclose any information, you wouldnt be able to tell by inspecting the car, it is fixed properly.

this thing is worth 5 - 6k, branded cars are near impossible to sell.

I'm glad the car was fixed properly, and I agree that a branded car might be a good choice for someone looking for more with a bit less to spend, however it is not hard to tell when a car has been painted. for starters replacement panels are missing the VIN stickers and paint along the edges is always a little rougher than factory.

Other than that I just don't get why people comment on prices all the time. its against the rules and its not welcome. If you think its not a fair price then move on and look for something in your price range. let others decide what the car is worth to them by doing their own research.

Helping out the community from being ripped off, for buyers interested in this car

SALVAGE = Vehicle sustained damage equal to OVER 75% of it's worth, so lets just say the car needed either a frame pull or heavy front end damage.

That's why I said it's worth what it is, IF it did not have a branded title than I would hand you 10k right now because it LOOKS clean.

Not knocking anyone, just stating the obvious, hate away/
