If I had an ABS problem that involved any major work or cost I would disconnect the whole thing so that it operated like normal brakes without ABS.
Never had it before and never got used to it.

740iL

Just curious, were you driving the 740iL? If so what type of rear struts do you have, are they hydraulically controlled?

Unfortunately not that easy! On may cars they ASC/DSC is also connected to the computer, and cluster. If disconnected on some cars you will loose the speedometer and odometer function. In some cases, if you drive it will trigger the CEL, and even put the car into trans fail safe (limp mode)...Don't ask how i know

I'm probably picking up a trw master brake cylinder on Tuscany for under 200 oem quality but oem part is 700 bucks.

Any feed back would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

And can someone recommend a shop near north York to replace the part and bleed my brake lines...
