What happened to Tedfest thread?

Hey guys, we had a good photo thread going from yesterday's Tedfest.
Now it's gone. Or is it moved? What's up?
Thanks

LOL. You guys should know by now, if the event isn't feeding some money around here, it's not welcome on here...

1. It's not like Ted does it to make money or is somehow competing with Maxbimmer.

2. Max gets additional net traffic because of the interest such a thread generates. Additional net traffic does offer an opportunity to generate additional revenue.

3. The event is for enthusiasts. I thought that's what Max is about as well.

So what gives here guys? I'm hoping this is some sort of an error.

I don't know, but a lot of maxbimmer members attended tedfest. Would be nice to discuss the event in our own web community (max).

Guys, it's not a "maXbimmer policy" that deleted the thread. Ted specifically asked me to remove them both... so I did. If you're curious why, PM Ted please. The show was fantastic... amazing turn-out (124 cars) and dry weather.

So a BMW show in the GTA is not welcome on a BMW forum that is based in the GTA? It's not as if Tedfest is a competing forum.

Waiting for a moderator to chime in and explain this.
Typed this while previous post was being typed.
OK. SO Ted...what's up?

Hey!! Is that what it's about?? the $ and all along I thought it was ALL about the community...

Some of the Max sponsors were at the event so it is in Max's best interest to have the thread posted and not deleted. I hope this is in error.

Wow, didn't expect that coming from you Rudy, but ok...

Anyways, i wasn't aware of the thread "disappearing", and it's always nice to see some nice bimmers so i brought the thread back. Ted can contact me directly if there is a problem with it which he had not. My apologies for the confusion guys.

Glad to see the thread has been re-instated, but I have one more comment to add.
I started that thread about a local show of BMWs. Several other members took the time to post pictures and comments. It should not be deleted at the request of another member, or anyone, even if that person was the organizer of said event, or at the whim of the moderators. What's next, posters with yellow cars no longer allowed to post? Internet forum censorship is a slippery slope gentlemen.....
