Which do you prefer: staggered vs. non-staggered

Seems most people like non-staggered for 16" and 17", but like staggered for 18" and 19".

Why?

BTW: I mean staggered tire sizes, not necessarily staggered widths or offsets.

EDIT: sorry, last option should read "RWD".

Footprint looks nice especially when you drive behind. I run 265s and it looks dope from the back

A squared setup is better for handling, unless you are pushing alot of power.

The circumference of tires on AWD should really, really be exactly the same. I dont know of many AWD cars with staggered setups (although i'm not doubting that there are a few).
