If you needed spacers, you would know in the first 10 feet you moved the car. I don't know what's wrong, but it does sound like something is binding. My vote it's the upper mounts

Look, we have no idea whats wrong with your coilovers over the net ... bring it to a shop or someone who can diagnose it.

Here's some research. Have a buddy turn the steering wheel when the car is standing still on dry pavement and you can stand over the engine bay listening for popping sounds coming from the shock towers

Go to a mechanic! Waiting around guessing isn't going to get you very far.
It's simple, something is broken and needs to be replaced. Asking on the Internet isn't going to work. Someone needs to see it in person.
