recently bought a car off this forum and needs an engine so if anyone has a good running cheap engine for sale let me know. I found one for 500 and one for 600 at the scrappers but maybe someone from here can help me out.

what happen to the engine? headgasket?

i am thinking its the head gasket as my mechanic changed the water pump and fan and the water starting bubbling out of the radiator, the machanic told me easier to change headgasket. eurostyle is one of the best bmw parts guys out there but he quoted me about a 1000 on an engine but as i said i found to scrappers selling for 500 if anyone can do better than that will pick up asap if not will just pick up one of those engines monday

are you sure your mechanic bleed the cooling system properly? maybe the ai wasnt totally bleed out

no idea honestly, all i know is he told me it needs an engine and i am trying to find the cheapest one out there, is there a way i can check if it has been properly bleed, cause when i saw it it had a really pungent smell coming out of it dont know if that helps but any advice is greatly appreciated

how much for the engine and would shipping be possible? how many km's any mods, damage etc.
