Audio Noob: Just want to install ONE 12" sub

I have an E90 325i... and some extra bass wouldn't help... My idea?

Install 1 12" subwoofer into the trunk.. 120 bucks at Futureshop or wherever...

Can I install this as a quick plug/play sub feeding off my stock CD player amp?

Or am I going to have to invest hundreds more to get more bass??

Thanks guys

I can wire in a sub tapped into your oem system, if all the stock audio equipment is in the trunk like the older BMW's. Keeping everything stock, you will need a amp to drive the sub, did it to my M5 tapped into the dsp system sounds nice.

All you need is

A) a subwoofer with enclosure
B) an amp with line level inputs. (If it doesn't have crossovers, you can buy an external crossover)

Easily done under 150$.

No.......... NOT easily done for under $150, UNLESS you want a pile of garbage.

lol alpine amp, alpine sub, bassworks enclosure. lookin at probably 500 bucks to find the shit new, maybe less. Can find it used cheaper Im sure. If you can buy a stereo for under 150 bucks, its not very good. expect to pay 150 bucks just for a decent sub.
