Send a message via MSN to craz azn
I saw you twice driving across the backroads inside the track between 1 and 2. Didn't realize it was you!

Hey I was sitting there with you, I had the blue pop up tent sitting down by the corner to the straight. I saw your car there, I see you take it to auto trend.
Great place!

I was on the big track on May 24 (Tuesday) and didn't see any of the cars in your pictures there on that day!

I assume you are joking but just in case, pics are from SCCA WC and CCTC that ran on the Victoria Day Weekend.

No I am not joking. May 24 was a Tuesday and I was on the big track with a bunch of other BMW's. When I read the subject line, I was hoping to see pics of me. My suspension mods really changed the car, I am sure I was faster than I had ever driven there.

Ok, Victoria Weekend is refereed to as May 2-4. SCCA, CTCC we there May 20-22. Hope that explains why you did not see Mike Skeen and Aaron Povoledo passing you into 8.

May 2-4 is not the same as May 24, and is just a marketing term being used by the beer companies in the last few years. That weekend has been known as the Victoria Day weekend for many decades and that name is still used by newspapers, banks, etc. It is not officially called the May 2-4 weekend.

Perhaps you are right but I think that's what the poster was referring to. Trillium is gonna be at Mosport June 3-5th in case you want to come out again.

Friday - solo lapping, around 3hrs and 45 minutes for 250$. Good deal. Saturday and Sunday, in car instruction + exercises on the skid pad.

I'm sure you have to be an A student to go out on Friday. I am a Trillium member so know about their track days. The instructor I had was a former race car driver and I was surprised at how well he and I worked together. And I was not told to go home and practice racing games on a PS3, or that the fact the back of my driver's seat twisted after my wife adjusted it would make absolutely no difference how I drove. That is what happened last time I was at one of the events you mentioned.

And here is another gem from around 2006: "I am going to suggest they put you back in the beginner's group because you don't heel and toe"

Awesome pics. The RMP E90 looks soo nice!

On a sidenote. MarkD i think if you haven`t seen him on May 24(Tuesday), and are aware that the term May `2-4` is used for the long weekend then i think you should be smart enough to figure out that he must be talking about the weekend.

The topic says "mosport may 24". Not "May 2-4" or "May long weekend".
According to the topic, this event took place on the 24th of May... which in fact, it did not.
