E30 WTB : Coupe for TrackDays

Requirements:

Coupe
5 Speed
Good Chassis
Reliable Motor with some service history

Most important, GOOD CHASSIS I will pay for a clean shell with no rust! (want to keep this car a long time)

I don't care what engine, km's, interior, suspension, ICE, bumpers etc...

I have all the race parts ready to go, I just need a decent motor and a two door!

Tired of looking in the states, and Im not gonna tear up my 99km Sedan for a track toy

Probably will not spend more than $2500-$3500 , as I'm looking for something basic and mostly stock. (Keep your fancy parts!, I got JStock all ready to go in)

Here is something for consideration.

I have no fancy suspension on mine but its tried and true. Bilstein sport shocks (new), and I would suggest you only put on H&R race springs to replace the Eibachs. You will get all new bushings and a fresh "i" swap.

The car is a 4 door however, but one of the cleanest shells you'll find.

I have had numerous offers on my wheels and tires alone. If you bring wheels and tires to drive the car away I'll sell the BBS ones separate and there will be a significant price drop.

Check out the pictures and tell me what you think. Nearly everything is done to stock so you don't have to worry about ball joints, bushings, brakes etc.... PM me to discuss further if you wish.

craz azn, I saw your for sale ad and was VERY tempted. But I already got $$$ tied up in a full Jstock setup, LSD, brakes etc just waiting to go on a car so I want something stockish....

DR.ZED, thanks, but if I wanted another 4door there is no cleaner sedan in Ontario than the one I already own (pretty sure). I'd like a true coupe.

True true. Funny, the suspension setup on my car is very close to J Stock Just softer springs. All that stuff you mentioned is easy to take off the car if I were to part it... if you would be interested in the shell, possibly plus motor? Only thing is, it is a few months too soon, as I was hoping to have my 2002 running so I still keep a running car to use at the track for this season.... the second my '02 runs, and the E30 isn't sold, it probably will be parted.

What is wrong with you guys? OP: you should hold on to your low mileage 88 for dear life. Craz azn: I would seriously cry if you part that thing. For the love of god, make sure they go to good homes.

I'd love to lock my car in storage for another 5 years and just pick up something cheaper for the time being! $$ and lack of storage are whats stopping me though.

FYI, there are some great E30's out there that everyone showed me, and everyone who was selling had plans to get another. Good to see a strong community for these cars.

Did you get that black 88?

Yes I did. Few rust spots but nothing penetrating the rockers. Owners book showed 123km by original owner in 2003, so 211km seems accurate.

Time to get some work done now for the remainder of the season!

Congrats, looked like a good car from the pics. You planning to be out at the track with it this year?

I'd love to be on the track asap this year. The car is solid for autox right away, the only hesitation is the timeframe of work involved in doing the full install of new parts. I may have to push some work for a winter project.
