I haven't heard of it, but it looks pretty interesting, will try to check it out sometime this summer.
Price seems reasonable too, not much more than a regular track day.

I am thinking of checking this out as well. Looks like a good deal.
Anyone know what the crowd is like. I have seen some events where the driving std is pretty low and reckless.

I wouldn't mind trying a couple out, will have to see how it blends with work and other events.

I am looking to the July and August events, hopefully I will see you guys out there. I am not too clear on their rules: not sure if they look at mods & r comps or just the base car.

Unless your doing enough events to win I'd say just go have fun, and see what you can do, I'd be using as a judgement of where my car and my driving skills are at personally.
But it would be nice to finish well too

^ Understanding the rules in more detail and having fun are not mutually exclusive.

yeah should be fun, currently staring at bar exam materials - which makes thinking about racing very attractive - if anyone has a hard time falling asleep this stuff is perfect: "The defendant must admist every allegation of fact in the opposite party's pleadings ... rule 25.07(1)..." and my mind goes - could I get on the throttle sooner at 2 - is missing the first apex at 8 really faster... and here I am replying to a thread on maxbimmer at 12:05 am instead of studying

fast forward 5 years forward and I am going to start thinking: can I sue a faster guy for passing me in 4 and causing emotional distress and feelings of "slow-ness"
imagine three lawyers driving in the cars in this video: http://www.youtube.com/user/FlyingLi.../1/8k4rlme-12k
the f____rs would be on the radio filing claims in the middle of the corner

I'll be heading over with some people from work. From what i've been lead to believe it's a wide variety of people with a healthy dose of engineers.
