ready to tint my tails for a new look, wondering what can be used instead of a tiny squeegee to smooth out bubbles and help apply the tint. Would the end of a baking spatula work?
I would use night shade (crappy tire rattle can) because it allows you to control just how much tint you want. Let dry and then apply a few coats or plastic clear coat if you want a shiny look to it and it will prevnt it from fading with time. Otherwise just spray the night shade for a flat/matte look.
That Lamin-X stuff is the way to go. I have the squeegee tools and such here as we supply tinters and dealerships. just swing by mississauga to pick them up. they vary from $3-$10 depending and are professional grade.
