Carstar - Yes or no?

Got rear-ended at a red light and now I need a new rear bumper, etc. I keep hearing mixed reviews of Carstar and ain't too sure if I want them to do the repairs. My insurance company will allow me to get it done anywhere as long as they match a certain price that one of their "adjustors" appraises the damages at. Would anyone recommend Carstar or should I hit up a BMW dealership? Or maybe a reputatable shop in-and-around the Hamilton-GTA area.

depends on location, i know the mississauga one off central pkwy is great but alwasy packed and estimates by appointment only.
I got rear ended a month ago and went to Fix, cheapest and also a great job. Comes with lifetime warranty anywhere in canada too.

Most of these shops use the Mitchell rating system so if you're strictly shopping on price they'll be the same. If you are paying cash then the repair costs will vary. Also, what I've heard is if you tell them at the beginning that it'll be an insurance claim your VIN will be entered in the quoting system and it'll show up on a Carfax search whether you decide to fix it or not in the future.

Well, I myself am not paying anything. It's all being covered by the insurance company of the person at fault. Not really concerned about price, more-so just that the job is well done. The guy was talking about ordering all the new bumper things and having them painted then just having me come in to have it installed. To my knowledge, aren't you suppose to test-fit the bumper as most of the time it's not a perfect fit and needs a few modifications before painting?

My current bumper is OEM, yes.
