My little car collection

The porsche's Black little brother, 335i, in the back.. don't drive it much anymore.. the gf has officially taken it over.

I've taken over the pink scooter.. yup!

Can't wait to put the roof down and take the boxster out for a spin.. Just something about a convertable that drives the ladies wild... yup the touareg is for winter.

Thinking of selling her.. she's just not that practical nor cheap to maintain..

not a hater but a few questions...

1 - you must have a lot of disposable income to be sinking that kind of coin into depreciating assets.
2 - i would rather put it into a better home instead of a subdivision home.
3 - what do your neighbours think - not that it matters.

nothing wrong with what you are doing either just different priorities.

the pink scooter is probably the best investment - least costly depreciating asset.

1/3 of those is a question. Not to mention that in response to No. 2... No one asked you what you'd rather do with his money lol. I guess opening with "not a hater" was a disclaimer.

Now, back to traditional responses of the kind this section is meant for... Nice cars OP, having options is always a good thing.

1) didn't happen over night.. it's about a 4 years process.
2) better home? I'm pretty happy w/ my home.. got a great deal on it and very good location so I'm happhy!
3) my neighbours owns lambos ..

The financee loves the scooter.. that's her little ride.. thank goodness she has less expensive taste!

The Question.. thx man.. it's about living and enjoying life if it's in the means.. 2012 is the end of the world so they say so better start living ..

I'm with you! You need a junior management helper or something? I start from the bottom to work my 4 years into the making. Maybe then I can buy that Porche 911 GTS3 that my girlfriend drools over at Calabogie raceway lol.

I started my own IT consultant company.. it's has only a few full time staff and mostly project based part time staff.. I am an engineer and design call centre solutions for large corporations. A few of my customers are IBM, TD, BELL, Honda, etc..

My advice is pretty simple.. never work for anyone..it's pretty simple and I'm sure it's been stated before. Do what you like but do it on your own terms (aka own company) .

Ahhh icic that's very cool. At my current moment in life, I'm working security at the Nortel Headquater in Ottawa, where Ciena, Erricsson, Avaya and Public Works currently are located and shortly DND will own the building. I'm just at a limbo stage in life where I'm waiting for my girlfriend to finish her undergrad so I can attend college (thinking HVAC). Thank you for the tip on owning a company, maybe after some years working for Johnsson Control, I can start up a small HVAC company. I'm also using my time here to get to know VP and CEO of companies that are located in this facility. Good networking here.

On topic : I'm still jealous The Austin Martin is like a dream car to me, and the girlfriend would love the Porches.
