I need brake pads (again) rotors, tires (again and again) brake fluid flush, and I'm ready for some more track and autocross days. But the car still sees 1200km a week as my commuter car!

Looks like my dream porsche sitting in a field in need of a new interior and lotsa bodywork got sold to some other sucker (I mean, gentleman)...so I doubt I'm going anywhere for at least this year. Also, once I finish payments on my ex wife's car, I should have a bit more money to burn. That's March next year...perfect. In the meantime, lots of wet sanding and buffing, hopefully a passed e test and frame to be welded...plus a couple of other small jobs. That's if nothing goes on her, although I've done a lot of maintainence...

I'll be looking to re-join the E30 fraternity in the fall. Got an M50 and most of the swap parts, just need a clean southern car...

Just spoke with my brother, here are the plans for the e30 for this season:

1) Pull dash and fix the butchered wiring harness
2) Freshen up the brakes (all rusted from sitting), new tires for the 15x6.5 corrado g60 weaves I've had sitting forever (freshly powdercoated)
3) 5 lug swap using my stock E36 bits up front, Z3/Ti hubs out back + appropriate wheels, + z3/ti coilovers
4) Depending on what sells (my M52 or M30) freshen up the one that doesn't sell and swap it in

Should be fun to have two generations of 3's on the driveway modified the right way

^Out of curiosity, why would you do a 5 lug swap if you're getting tires for 4 x 100 Corrado wheels?

Stages of construction. Not doing everything at once, might not get around to everything this season.

Remember this car?!

I've got my vert out for the season, although I haven't taken the hard top off, and for good reason. F-ing cold out still!! Threw the BBS Junior lines on it, Nardi steering wheel, Recaro LX's, and one of those rear tail light style OEM plate fillers that everyone hates. It looks good on the my car. I found hood with no peeling clearcoat that I still need to go pickup some time. If anyone's going to Bavarian, ask Steve for it and bring it to me, PLEASE!

Hopefully I'll have time this long weekend to put a short cruise route together and get back to all of you, so you have a deadline to get your e30's up and running. The coupe should be ready for auto-x if I can find time to pull the clutch pack again.

hahahahaha,

Scott, It doesn't see the light of day in the winter. Last year I had it on the road almost everyday from spring to fall.
This year might be different though. HG and clutch which I don't have time for if I did it myself, and might not have the funds for someone else to do it because we're getting a house. FML.

I thought you were going to fix the HG over the winter?

That was the plan, but I got a wee bit too many tickets. WHen my insurance renewed they sent me a letter (which I didn't originally open for a while) that said they weren't renewing....3 days later from the time I found out......SO I had to scramble to get it oil sprayed, and arrange for storage in innisfil at a friends house.
My Dad wouldn't have it if I tied up his garage the whole winter anyways. I thought I'd have insurance by now but not till the beginning of May.
