Yokohama Avid EnVigor

Do any of you have any experience with these tires. I need new 3 season tires for the x3. I was going go with Pirelli STR's but they are pretty steep and I wonder if I'm paying for a name. I found the reviews on the Envigors to be quite good...here's my problem...why are they so cheap??? I just checked Green and Ross and they are the cheapest tire in my size. The Uniroyal Tigers paws are $13 more per tire, then we go up from there until we top out with the Pilot at $106 more per tire.

The X3 is my wife's and you know if the EnVigors are sh!t, I will pay for it for the life of the tire.

Envigors are not shit at all, i just bought a set of them, they are better than Kumho 712 and better than goodyear RSA. When i say better i mean grip wise and noise. These things grip realllyyyy well, but i run wide tires, 255/40/18.
