talk me OUT of buying a e32 v12 750
imported directly from Germany.
Never seen a snowflake, let alone rain.
150K on the odo, mint interior, mint everything, EXCEPT it has a small leak from the oilpan.
i've done some research on these beasts, and honestly the v12 powerplant intimidates the hell outta me.
not looking for a DD, just a weekend sunny day car..show and shine kind of deal.
still has fully functional rear air suspension, and A/C still blows cold.
Have any of you worked on the M70b50? is it the nightmare they all say it will be?

And it has two DME's, which are very hard to find if you ever need one. Not the best engine management implementation...

It has 2 of almost everything...Even two fuel pumps and two windshield wiper motors! Does not help much with the 25L/100 consumption...

And in another thread where I asked if the 750 for sale came with a pre-paid $2000 gas card, the seller or someone else seemed to say gas consumptoion isn't that bad. I know how bad it is. That's probably why it's for sale.
The 750 with 2 DME's should never have been made that way.

Such a smae, such an amazing looking car with 18x10 staggered german wheels (Azevs) I think.
Basic tuneups would be mental, sparkplug wires from bav auto at the tune of 3bills, plus another hundred or so for plugs, I'm not poor by any means but I want to have fun with it. Not a delicate moody beast.
Maybe ill stick with e30 or m30'd e34's

That is not the best car for fun, it's just to drive to church and funerals every so often, and take to Tedfest, or wax up with your BMW buddies.

If I could justify it, I would buy it in a heart beat. A set of sick wheels and exhasut work plus tint=SEX!
I know the car you are talking about too.

Where are you located? How do you know of this car? What would you pay for for it? Also, what are you're thoughts on overall condition?
Still pinning for it....even if its a weekend waxer

That car has been posted here several times since 2009. If you search you will find the threads.
It looks like a really nice car and I wouldn't mind owning it. As long as you know what you are getting into (maintenance and cost wise) and you are prepared for it, then why not?
