Used to see one on Avenue Rd. north end of Yorkville. Dunno if it still lives/hunts around there and will be out of hibernation soon or what. Didn't notice (or don't remember) the plates.

i suspect that could be the http://www.g-2cycles.com/ that you saw. GTAexotics has them available for rent.

I suspect the T-rex not being a kit car is not road legal...but also surprised at their resale value and how much they hold it. damn expensive new and used!

They couldn't legalize the T-rex in Canada for some reason so thats why you have the g2-cycles .. I heard the engine is not as beefy either.

I dont see a point equipping it with a beefier engine if its just going to one wheel thats 275 tire i think.. it will be dangerous in higher speeds with that little traction. plus chain driver not sure how much it can hold.

Bleh, kit looks too busy IMO

I'd buy a Caterham R400 long before I'd ever buy a T-Rex. Ariel Atom is another good option as well.

Because its a 3 wheeler and you need a motorcycle licence to drive one its going to be as dangerous as riding a motorcycle.

@ Blades - you do realize it's legal elsewhere in Canada just not in ON - damn MTO. these are made in Montreal area.

@Bullet - Ariel Atom are not street legal either in ON. i guess you could build it up as a kit and register as a kit car. not sure if how you could achieve that.

G2 are kit cars that you can make yourself using a motorcycle motor ( sold separatly)

T-rex is a car/motorcycle hybrid.

here in quebec, it's legal on road and only require a normal driver license, not a motorcycle one. (driver license is new for about 2 years, before that you had to have a motorcycle driver licences)

they are sold everywhere in USA on harley davidson dealers
