want buy a e38 need some advice

i have a bmw 545 in china,thats absolutely a gorgeous.but i dont have any car here so i wanna buy a e38 as a daily car drive to school.wondering is there anybody here know some easy way to diagnose a e38,appreciate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


another question,i heard most of e65 around 2003 have a lot of electrical issuse,is that true?

Yes, the E65 has a ton of electrical issues.

An E38 would be a great buy, only if it is one that has been maintained. Lower mileage isn't always better with these cars, since most of the maintenance stuff comes up at around 100K.

2001 is the latest, but anything 99+ is good

E38 99+, this is the post facelift year. I had a 98 which was nice, however maintenance hstory is key here, make sure it had regular service with history from a BMW dealer, pay 2-3k more for it to find one.
