havent seen the utube version but did watch it on tsn (could be the same one?). at the very end of the show they showed e30 m3 driver recieving a trophy and a panned shot of a yellow e36 m3 ltw, unfortunately no coverage of both during the show.

Yeah it is the TSN coverage.

They only show the white E30 M3 one other time and it's parked

Why isn't there anywhere closer that does a targa race like this

There are some local navigational rallies, but nothing of this magnitude.

That was us in the E30 M3.
At the end of Day 2 we broke an engine mount and had a catastrophic short that melted the entire wiring harness. After 14 hrs hours of working on it, we still couldn't get it running.
It sucks too because we were 9 seconds out of first up until that point in the Open Division (against Kenzie and Hughes) .

Charlie and the Bimmersport crew did an amazing job helping us build and prep our car! We will be back this year for the Targa Newfoundland 10th anniversary.

^^ im confused, if you couldnt get it running then how did you recieve a trophy? or unless that was another e30m3.

It wasn't a trophy, it was a "thanks for coming out medallion", you know, the kind you get when you play little league. Any competitor whose car crosses the finish line gets one. You can see in the video, our crew behind the car - they pushed us across the finish line.

We were the only E30 M3 (and only Asians

) in Targa last year.
