E36 320 blue smoke from acceleration

this is the seconded time i noticed this.
when i come to a complete stop then accelerate i get a nice ploom of blue smoke out the back.
But i can drive normally then floor it and its clean.

Im burning oil somehow somewhere.
Think i can still save this engine? or should i be looking for a swap?

if you have worn valve seals it will do that

I would try playing around with different weights, brands and type of oil and also try adding in some Lucas Oil Additive.

I would try Shell Rotella T5 0W40.

This is my fav oil but I went to Canadian Tire to pick some up a few days ago but they didn't carry it any more. So it might be store to store if they carrier this oil. It will be with the Diesel oil.

if you're blowing blue smoke out, the kind of oil you're using or additives is not what you should be looking into.

When I run 100% synth my car burns oil like crazy. When I run blend it will burn almost none.

checked the oil level and it barely registered.
i will try i different weight next oil change and some additives.
if it continues ill look into a new engine.
