Castrol 0w30 on sale!

Just a heads up for anyone that uses German Castrol 0w30, it's on sale at Canadian Tire for $7.99 a litre. Just picked up 12L

I use it but notice I get slightly worse mileage with it over OEM.

i haven't tried any other oils and specifically use this one. thanks for the heads up, I usually pay $9.99L - going to stock up tomorrow.

you all realize I can get you Motul Synthetic for $9 tax in per liter when you buy 4 jugs

that's cheaper then sale price of $7.99 plus tax and env fee!!!!!

why not support Maranello Mike and get the factory fill for $6.73 a litre, can't go wrong with that, and a long life oil too

Are you talking about the LL-04 BMW specific stuff?
Can you get their 6100 Synergie 15W50 stuff for the same price? And how about the motorsport 300V?

the castrol is long life too... in fact the oem 5w30 and castrol 0w30 are quite similar according to bitog forums.



and figures this went on sale after I bought some other stuff last week and changed my oil.

Don't use LL-04, use LL-01, tech bulliten from BMW says using LL-04 with north American gas causes ash build up in cats leading to failure!!
