^^great deal at Crappy Tire right now, $135 + tax for 10x10 easy up.
Yeah 615's do suck in the rain, I had them on my VW last year, not friendly in the rain for sure.
Steve's got it right, sucky to stand in the rain, but the autocross is that much better!
But.......like Richie said we'll have a lot of shelter, but please bring umbrellas for when it's time to marshall! Thanks in advance!

Anyone who is racing tomorrow, if you have a 12. Volt tire pump it would be good to bring, in wet conditions you should jack the tire pressure up, this will open the treads up to channel water better and get your tires warmer faster.

Hot damn this is gunna suck! My GD cabrio is sitting outside with a GD tarp over it to keep the GD rain from dripping into the car and soaking my GD Recaro's. The GD hard top hasn't leaked a drop until today when it started leaking from both sides. The GD tarp is held on by my wipers at the front, a ratchet strap around the trunk, and elastic bands around my side mirrors. This is all the red car's fault. See you all in the morning.

With the exception of standing out in the cold windy rain marshaling I had a blast today.
Thanks John.
fyi I'd be willing to pay an extra $5 every event if it meant that I got a BBQ lunch

Yea, it was a fun first day. Just so damn cold, wet, and windy. I think we need to find some sandbags or waterbags to hold the shelters in place.
Maybe we could just get pizza? That way John doesn't have to lug a BBQ around. We can always just take names and have some pizzas delivered for those that are interested.
John, let me know if you want me to throw the results up on the web. I can do all of the calculations as long all of the cars are classed. It would be awesome if someone had the time to create a little database and front end to enter the results and show them.
