It was definitely only running on 5 cylinders at the end. Might want to check your plugs and coils.

John said he was hitting over 110 in 3rd on the straight. I think I was hitting almost 100 at the top of 2nd gear.
Looks like I max out at 98kph in 2nd.

I'm not sure that I could get my car up to that speed... probably not, but the 4.27 diff winds up pretty quickly, so I might have hit third. Anyways, I'll be there for the next round for sure! I can't wait! I can't believe I've only done one round this year.

I hit the top of second, 105-110 then had to hit the brakes, hit them a little hard on one run, rears locked and left a nice set of lines!

There was plenty of run off space off the straits and in the turns.

I'm sorry but I have to disagree. When we were at the old lot one of the layouts allowed for runs into the 90+ range with no run off. Now we have more run off than TMP's turn 1 and most turns at Shannonville given how much space we have at this venue. I left more than 100ft run off at the end of that straight. The reason we were going so fast was it was lead by an increasing radius wide turn so speed was building well before the straight. Many who attended stated this was the best course they've seen yet and I asked many if they felt at any point with this layout if they felt it was unsafe and everyone emphatically stated it was completely safe. If I felt at any time that safety was being compromised I would have altered or out right changed the layout immediately.
Cheers,
John

Hey all, A reminder the next event is a week away, and it IS ON A SATURDAY! August 6th. I've had a few people bring this up thinking it was a typo. But it is not. I couldn't get the venue on the Sunday so Saturday it IS! Same time, same place. 9am, 7575 Kennedy Rd Brampton. The Powerade Centre.
Cheers

If someone has a small laptop/netbook with a good battery, we could enter the times live and have the results almost immediately.
I have an older laptop but the battery doesn't last very long, so we would need 120V power for it.
