DDM group buy via 8legs Racing

Ok, since DDM doesn't want to play nice with Canadian customers, 8legs Racing to the rescue! I'll keep this open for a few weeks to you guys some time to come up with funds. Here is how we'll do it:

1. Find something on DDM you want to buy. Get the link, description, quantity, colour, etc. Make sure I can easily order it without having to ask you to clarify 5 times on what you want!

2. Confirm that it's in stock at DDM! They tend to be out of stock on stuff ... We'll only do this once, so if it's not available to ship when I place the order, you're out of luck

3. 50% downpayment to 8legs via EMT (prefered) or Paypal (+3%) ... I'm not made out of money

4. There will be duty and taxes and shit, so be prepared for that. I'll get the final numbers once the parts are in my hands

5. All parts will be available for pickup in Ottawa. For other areas (GTA etc) I can ship, but at buyer expense of course.

If that works for you, and you want in on this, please PM me with the details of what you want and I'll let you know when I add you to the order.

Let's run it to the end of the month (March 1st) and see how it goes.

So how did it go? Or did everyone waffle, hesitate, and then back out?

I find group buys like this (with different parts) rarely goes well. I hope it went ok, but I'm doubting it.

It is still early in the season to be ordering, i say we'll leave it for another month? I just bought rims and updated my sound system, so no spending for another month for me.

I've been okay with DDM so far but the grills I bought for the 5 broke as soon as I put them in, same with my DJ Autos for the E36.

Bad installer I think but it could be the product.

^a couple of the tabs broke on my grilles too while installing (E36) and the door moldings, although the price is right, are pretty crappy compared to the real ///M ones.

I am still in, if you're willing to wait another month to order. Anyone else?

You guys might wanna check this out before getting into a big group buy: http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum....php?t=1618965

"DDM Tuning will be transitioning out of BMW parts over the next 6 months. Less and less items will be available. More and more of them will be put on clearance. So, you should watch the website and the upcoming Bimmerfest this spring to get unbelievable deals."
