new 320 project - Poaching in Rudy's back yard

Grabbed a decent 1980 320 up in Omemee . Was going to poach the 5-speed for Franken Bimmer but the car is too nice to hack ! ( Sh!t )

LSD, BBS basket weaves, sunroof, minimal rust, perfect interior and it runs like a clock !
Needed battery & 4 tires ( got both today for $120 total) and a rear brake line and fuel line fix so by the end of the weekend the car will be done !

Wish the '72 was that quick....

Looks like a good pick up Nick! Next time you are out this way, you should definitely stop in and say Hi!

Nick, if you decide that you don't want to keep the car, I am looking for a good quality E21 to do an M42 engine and trans swap. I wouldn't need the engine/trans and a few other things from the E21 as I will be using an engine and trans from a 95 318is.
I also don't want to see a good car go to waste either. If you decide you'd rather take the parts for your 2002, let me know and we'll work something out.

Nick,

Here is the build that I was telling you about. This guy basically transformed a 2002 into an E36 by adding the front and rear subframes, engine, transmission, diff, suspension, brakes, seats, steering etc all from a 96 318ti.

This is my inspiration for my planned build...just missing the E21.

yes this is really cool, I think it would be wicked to have a 2002 on all 318TI parts. I really am hoping to do this one day
