i wouldnt be posting looking for roof rack in the E36 section if i was looking for a roof rack for a e30 would I??

im looking for a THULE roof rack, or any kind of roof rack to be honest.... i dunno what there worth so i dont have a price range

function for me= carries my bike, long boards and maybe some rims and tires

roof rack on my e36 = the coolest kid in stoney creek

I'm about to post an E36 trailer hitch up for sale. IMO, more flexible than a roof rack. No need to own/store a trailer either since you can rent one from U-haul for pretty cheap whenever you're in the hauling mood. For bikes, you can buy a universal trailer hitch bike rack. If you're interested, I'll post some pics

$70, pic attached. Dalan hitch for the E36 rated at 2000lb towing, 200lb tongue weight. I bought this used some time ago, but never used it. I've since bought a pick up truck, so I don't need it. Some more install pics: http://www.bimmerhaus.com/vendors/dalan/index.html
