...wtf kind of comment is that? This is a racecar.. Fiberglass is lighter, easier to fix, and in this case much easier to build a fiberglass body then a steel body. As long as it looks half decent from 50ft i'm happy.

Haven't even started on engine work yet! Been crazy busy with the body/cage prep. Engine stuff will most likely be the last thing i do. As of now i still have my other motor that runs, not great, but worst comes to worse and i run out of time, i can ruin it until i get the other m50 sorted out.

Managed to get one of the rear struts fully boxed in today. Should be able to get the second one tomorrow. Getting anxious to start bending tubes!

^ well done.

Got the other side done today.

Also decided to just rip all the wiring out. Probably going to end up re-wiring the car like Shawn.

Haha that does sound like a good trade, ill see if i can swing that deal.

Really looking forward to start the cage work. All the backing plates are now done (except for the front struts) so as soon as we get the tubing, I should be good to start! Hopefully early next week.

I remember when me and the girl came over to the house before heading to the track. The progress so far is looking awesome. Not to mention the welds.... mine would look terrible and would need another car body after I get done with one lol.

Thanks guys

I actually surprised myself with the metal work/welding. I'm really glad it's turning out nice. Looks like we won't be getting the tubing until the end of the week though unfortunately.
