my fellow bmw enthusiasts.. lets not partake in such punk activity and next time this happens let the punks fly by and hope for a cruiser to be up ahead.. the best thing to do in this situation if both parties were mature enuff to understand that having a bmw is not about having hte fastest car..who are we, JDM? and HONDA? come on..
roll next to the bmw beside you, dont go trying to beat them.
Just ignore them, it makes them really angry I was in newmarket last summer and these 2 guys in mk2 golfs were trying to egg me on but I just kept my cool and eventually they got frustrated and left My brother is a jdm fan and so are a few of my buddies. They can be pretty annoying and uninformed at times
Obviously the bmw community (or any other community) is not completely devoid of these generalizations. however, these stereotypes and generalizations exist for a reason because more often than not they do have some truth to them. I am open minded and do give credit where it is due. The funny thing is, the way I see it, some jdm companies (toyota,honda,nissan) and bmw have more in common especially when it comes to their engine designs.
When I bought my M5 It was as if it was driving on 6 cylinders it was, clutch Gone, Vanos of f-up etc.
My point is when you take out an "executive" driven M5 that not one cent been spent on upkeep, VS an M3 that has been maintained to the tee's of course it will destroy it. Believe me an M5 with a slipping clutch will get its ass handed to it by many cars. Take an M5 that has been up kept and then let’s talk. Speak to any BMW Sales person with experience on a lease return e39 m5 they cry.
