THANKS guys
JayArras: I will definitely post pics. Stay tuned
Oyster: GT is not my cup of tea. Not digging the back end, and front for that matter. I did not trade mine in. I am selling it. The for sale thread is in the "BMW cars for sale" section
JINT: AWD was a choice over RWD for several reasons. First - snow, I had problems with my car climbing the hills and taking off from the intersections in bad weather/deep snow (when my snow tires were old), not so much with good new winter tires but still. I like how AWD takes off in snow and wet - no tire spin.
second BIG reason - 535i RWD electric steering has big problems not yet resolved by BMW. (puling to the right and when software fix applied no center feel and wondering at high speeds) . 535xi has tested, trusted and true BMW hydraulic steering. BIG selling point for me. did not go for 550xi because I felt that the HP are enough with 535 as it has more HP than my E39 540. plus - I will chip it and get 60 or more HP then . PLUS 535 is better balanced due to lighter engine.

here are the pics. The car is steal at the dealer. I left it there and here is the story why ...
I told the sales guy before they PDId the car that I don't want it washed etc because I don't want scratches on my paint. I was told that these guys are so pro that I have nothing to worry about ... WRONG. He even wrote an email to their people saying that the customer is very particular about the scratches and they should treat the car with extra care. I come in AM - the car is all scratched up from their waxing AND there is also a deep scratch that goes into the primer on the fender, probably from someone leaning on it to "wax" .... I was furious ....... and they are buffing it now. They also promised to fix the deep scratch.
here it is though

when I drove it I could not believe how great it was. Test drive does not give you that feeling somehow. When I drove mine I started to appreciate all the little and big things about it.it is so tight, solid, planted, refined and luxury .... F10 535xi - best car I driven yet, and I drove MANY

Congrats, your post made me think about December 28 when I went to trade up to my 2011 528i, just two hours before I was to make the trade, my 2008 528i was hit by a truck, and as of today I still own two 528i's repaired should be done on the E60 by the beginning of March, looks like you had a much better day, Enjoy!

This sux big time Kenny .. sorry to hear. what counts is that you walked away from this, not wheeled away on a stretcher.
And now you are enjoying your F10 528 .
