get a shoe kit from a car with drum brakes and use the "washers" to hold the pins in. I did that on my e30 and it works great. Dont wait until the handbrake decides to lock your wheels on the highway
I dropped my second pin in less than 2 years last week, both out of the passenger rear.
Each pin on separate occasions fell back between the hub and the dust shield. The noise it made was 100x worse than finger nails on a chalk board...
Good find on the Golf kit! I'd like to know how well it works.
cdn tire and partsource doesnt carry it, but VW does, but needs to be ordered, not a stock item ($35+tax). I may just fab one up out of a fender washer.
