Installed.
Picking up 2 more on Sat.
Great sound output.
It also has a protection circuit that cuts out the power to the sub if the input level is too high. So if you are planning to blow it, its not gonna happen.

ive read half decent reviews about it.
as long as your arent expecting the world it should be good. I remember having 1 10" and it always blew people away. you dont need 2 12's

I just purchased my amp kit (500 watts) from Futureshop (59$). Maybe one day when Ottawa gets warm I'll install it this weekend

I just grabbed one for my DD. I may do the install next week. When the DD finally dies I'm just gunna put the whole sound system from the DD in the boat anyway...twin 2 stroke 110HP (220HP total) haha

Zimmie has the amp install under the rear deck...VSanj has it on the trunk floor. I'd like to install it under the rear deck but there is a whole bunch of hardware for the trunk lid in the way. I know bass is not directional like treble is but lets assume everything was perfect and accessible...where's the best place to mount a sub like this...or worst place.
Under the deck, the bass is pointed straight into the car. On the floor or sides of the trunk its bouncing off a surface. What about mounting on the back of the rear seats???

I think I'm actually mounting this on the back wall of the trunk. Speaker facing tail lights. Should reflect sound nicely back. The car has a large enough lift over into the trunk that I have room. I may have to stick padding behind the licence plate so it doesn't rattle.
