These will also fit an e36 if you change the cover. A bracket has to be made for the front.

btw, a little searching indicates you can put these in a 328 or M3 by using the back cover from the 328

I've recently found out these are stock torsen diff's from a Z3

Still have 2 for sale. Someone here just stopped responding after I had it crated for shipping ... end of rant

how hard would it be to fab this custom bracket for the front? Could any diff/tranny shop do it or ...? Want to put this in my e36 328i

This http://store.activeautowerke.com/act...--dsb-p67.aspx is similar to what you need. I would think it should be fairly easy to fab.

You may want to contemplate taking the internals out and rebuilding the diff you have though. Might be easier. The torsen part of the diff should work in your e36 diff
