need help. how to remove the trunk lock?
my trunk lock doesnt work. I would like to take it out, see what's wrong with it. But the problem is that I have to remove those two stuff first(show in the picture). I have no idea how to remove them, they are not screws something.
anyone has any idea? please.

Something like this:
You can do it with a thin flat screwdriver and patience, although I wouldn't recommend it. Best is to use the above tool (available at crappy tire, princess auto, etc).

chances are you'll be able to re-use the clips. once those are off you'll be able to pull the panel loose. if the clip breaks just take it to bmw and most cases it will be in stock if not they'll order it. Don't worry, they won't ask you to leave your arm for deposit.

i cant open my trunk at all... i bought a lock for it, i just gotta find a way to get the trunk to open... anyone know how to open a jammed trunk?

i removed the lock and found a spring is broken.
i use a Elastic Band instead of it temporarily.
any idea for get the spring?

try fold down the back seat, get inside the trunk, then use a flat screwdriver to open it

Check with Maranello BMW, sometimes items like this are reasonably priced from the dealer. If it's really expensive then at least you'll know how much you're saving by buying used.

Either. If it was my car I'd be buying a complete assembly, if reasonably priced.
