Out for a couple of days in jail
Hey guys, I am finally back. I spend a couple of nights in jail, for "exibition of speed" (that's what the cops said) plus for putting the general public in danger. I got spanked with a 4,500 ticket plus I lost my license for a year.
It was worth it though. I topped out my 5.0L stang at 197.7 mph. I am so happy although I am going to pay a fine price for that. Ho well, since the highway was empty (of course it was 2o'clock in the morning) the cops just gave me my ticket for my outstanding speed(which I am proud of) It took them quite a long time to catch me. The damn radar picked me up at 180 but my actual speed was 197 it took an hour for the damn cop toi catch up to me. When he did he said that I was the craziest ****ing driver his ever seen.

Hat's off that your willing to accept the ramifications of getting caught.

remember that car speedo's are usually off after 60 mph so if the cop says 180 that's what it probably was.

So, am I the ONLY guy who's going to call BS on this one?
First off, where in the U.S. are you going to find a road smooth and straight enough to get a Fox body Mustang up to near 200 MPH?
Secondly, how much power are you making to get it close to 200 MPH? Given the aerodynamics and suspension on the Fox platform, I'm going to suggest you'll need north of 600 HP to get close to that.
Third, how did you determine 197.7 MPH? If the cop clocked you at 180 MPH (which I have a much easier time believing...), how did you show 197.7? No Ford analog speedometer is going to give you single digit accuracy, much less accuracy to the tenths.
Something smells a little fishy here....

That's one hell of a fine, not to mention you probably won't get any insurance company to insure you anymore......
How much gas did your stang drink during that top end speed?
