2.5i CAI or Filters?

What are my options with this piss-ant engine?

Most people just do a K&N for this vehicle and call it a day? I noticed the s-shaped down tube with the MAF attached has alot of potential fault (i.e. indirect route and potential cracking).

Is there a 3" mandrel bent piece out there from T6 6061 or do I need to make my own?
