2003 325i battery install???

Can anyone maybe help with with this question. I have talked to a couple different bmw techs and some say I have to have it installed at the dealer cause the the battery must be re-learn and some say just throw it in and reset your clock. Its the late model 03. Because I had my battery tested and apparently it needs replacing cause it failed the battery test( 7.8v@400cca ).

Take the old one out make sure your doors are unlocked before you disconnect it. Put the new one in, tighten and fix your clock on your instrument cluster. The ECU relearns everything if cleared as you drive. It's a battery swap not a bypass surgery. They try to make it sound more complicated then it actually is because they want your money.
