CDV Replacement

Hey bimmersport,

i just ordered a modified racing CDV from Zeckhausen and was wondering if you guys could shoot me a PM on what would be the cost for you guys to replace my OE CDV with this one come spring time? Car is a 06 Z4 M Coupe

It is very simeple precedure, I dont think it will cost much, if anything at all.

My question is, why did you get the CDV in the first place, the only reason getting cdv is to hide the fact that u are doing clutch delay valve from dealer. Yours is 06 so it should be out of warrenty period(unless you have extended warrenty), in that case, you could just ask bimmersport guys to take out the cdv all together.

Zeckhausen CDV is really a dummy part that make it look like OEM CDV to hide it.

hey,

i bought the car used, CPO'd which is exactly why i went the zeckhausen route instead of just removing

while you are at it, ask charlie to check the camgear bolt for play as well as engine mount bolt for play.

but anyway, out of 4200 produced, the number of mcoupes that suffered from above isnt really high number.
