will a sport suspension off a 2001 330i fit on a 2000 328ci?

Yes it will but the spring rates, strut and shock rates will be different. It won't lower your car or may lower it more compared to the 330i. Convertibles are inherently heavier so spring rates for those models are designed to handle a heavier load. Best to get springs and struts/shocks together.
