Just go to Wal-Mart, they carry Energizer car batteries. They have one that fits your car. They have a booklet there that lists make/model/year and the Energizer that will fit your car. Part # is E94R and it 765 CCA and it is 94R group size. You can confirm all information in the booklet there. I remember it costing about $140 for the battery and install is very easy.

Batteries sold in walmart and crappy tire usually have 3 year warranty, and they will most likely die after 3 years.

So:

Walmart battery 77-100bucks - life expectancy 3 years

OEM battery 200-250 bucks - life expectancy ..... well beyond 7-8 years.

My car is '03, still has OEM battery which is made in '03, my buddy has a '00 coupe > his original battery just died (so thats 10 years).

I totally recommend OEM battery as opposed to any walmart crap.

Just buy it from whoever sells it the cheapest.

I personally like to use OEM as well. I honestly don't think there is much of a difference from OEM to others, but just for my piece of mind i guess, and to have all original parts in my BMW.

Always go to Canadian tire or BMW to buy the battery because it comes with warranty and batteries usually die out fast.

I heard Interstate batteries are good, found place that sells them at Warden/Steels inside Metrosquare plaza, only one place that sells all kinds of batteries. I think they range from 110-130
