While that is hot, it does seem to be 2" of extra rim fitted on a 215-ish tire. Just a whole lot of extra weight.

Your going to need bigger then 8 to pull that off. Looks like a 9 or even a 10.
You can comfortably fit 9's all around with rolled fenders and proper with tires, et needs to be roughly 15 to do so.

On that car, the fronts are 16x8, the rears are 16x10. I got in touch with the owner and was told that it's et+12 front, et0 in the rear.
Def rolled the fenderz xD

You should be able to get away with 16x10 et20 in the rear with the right size tire, a serious roll/slight pull.

^^I can't stand that look. It goes against everything that makes a car handle properly. Also useless as a daily as you'll never keep the wheels looking like that if you daily it. Non functional=trailer queen=whats the point?

my iX needs* a motor and coilovers. we'll see though, impreza's are cheap now.
* means i'm fed up with the gutless m20 and my front shocks are gone, not that anything's broken. If the engine swap is going to happen, its gotta make it back across country first.

Turbo or stroker or both. I have an m52 crank, combine that with I pistons and e rods (iirc Rudy knows best) or forged bits for a balling ass turbo bottom end.
