Tow it to a shop and get it checked out! Those cars have lots of problem with position sensors and DME's...

its not flooding.
i can start the car if i manually maintain the idle with my foot.
i sat there in the parking lot idleing at 750Rpm for an hour.
if i let it go a bit, it will stall. if i give it gas, it will rev up to 2500 and then bog out.

Can you hear any vacuum sounds? Seems like a typical leak, it does exactly that

no, dont see or hear any leak.

just seems strange how a vacuum leak would arrise just after i get gas.

I did more searching and found some stuff about the tranny.
If the TCM is crap or anything else such as a dirty fluid, it could throw the CEL for the tranny and put it into limp mode.
restricting my Rpms and what gears i can use.

long shot but its all i can think of now.

Let me know if you need a shop not too far. They do a lot of work on BMW's, and will NOT overcharge you.

Got the car towed to RMP finally. 160$ not bad.
although it would have been better if i realized my renewed CAA membership came in the mail when i got home.

Rocco did a really good job of getting the car in and servicing it right away!
Within an hour he had already found the problem which has been eating me away for 3 days!
He is a true professional, didnt waste anytime playing around, and got exactly to the issue.

It ended up being a water damaged DME that causing shorts through several major sensors needed for a smooth operation of the engine.

Thought i had a source for a new one tonight...but that was a dead end.(which is a story for another time)

So if anyone has a source on one, please contact me.
