M3 Headlights Don't Auto Adjust

Hello guys,

I just bought a 2004 BMW m3 and for some reason the head lights do not auto adjust. When I start the car the lights do not go up, and when I turn on the permanent high beams they don't work. The headlights are bi-zenons. Does anyone know what this could be? Thx!

On the passenger side of your car near your struts there's a self-leveling sensor. Those things easily break, and might be the case with yours. Just go and check to see if the small rod connecting to the sensor is broken off.

Here's a pic of what i'm talking about.

Il have to check that out. Thx. I spoke to a friend who works at bmw and he said that they will probably have to reprogram my lights.

I just went for inspection today and it passed. I was scared that the high beams not working would fail me. Some released stress!!!

if your autoleveler is broken you can readjust manually. I dont have the DIY for it but I'm sure you can goggle it. Mine is broken because I lowered mine and it snapped. I dont plan on fixing it since it will probably break again but its not blinding anyone so meh.
