It would save some money by only producing one plate!

And my front bumper would look much nicer and cleaner!

I hate front plates!

Would like to see front plates gone as well, but this online petition is useless. Just another grab for $$$ (note the immediate donation page) and a grab for personal contact information that will surely result in more junk mail. Did anyone actually give their real email address?

I'm going to put a euro plate on this spring. Ask me if I care....

If I get a ticket, I'll pay it. Simple.

Yes, but won't it affect your insurance? Its still considered a minor ticket, no?

nope.

I've paid at least 4 tickets in the last 2 years, didn't affect it one bit.

Will you care when the cop confiscates your europlate? I lost two (real/personalized) europlates to the cops recently. And they were BEHIND my Ontario plates.

I even went as far as trying to fight one of them in court (the one where I took off the black paint from the letters/numbers... Still lost and didn't get my plates back.

Yikes, that sucks dude... haven't heard of that happening until now. Lucky I didn't get mine taken away back in October

Yea Rudy, pretty much what happened was... I went to court, they said too bad so sad... and kept my plates... still had to pay the fine (reduced to $60 on one and $65 on the other). They got me on "Confuse Identity of Plate"

This is the picture I brought to court showing there is NO confusion possible. They said while holding the picture up to their nose, I can see the other number(s) right here (they're embossed). I wanted to tell the Prosecutor off right then and there.

That said, I got my dad to send me 4 blank europlates. They can and will kiss my ass this time around with their bullshit tickets.

That sucks man!

But I won't have one in the back.

Just one custom euro plate in the front which will say the exact same thing as the official Ontario one in the back... I'll use my excuses like I am waiting for my mounting frame or something...

I don't think they would ever be able to take my plate away!

Do whatever you feel man... But what you're planning on doing is illegal and can get you a ticket for that.

LMAO... It's as simple as this. If you break the law (which you are) they are allowed to take it. Actually that is getting off easy. They are actually in the power to pull your plates completely and make you walk home. Just food for thought.

You are technically right.

I would have my official plate with me in the car somewhere... and if it absolutely came down to it, I would install it on the spot so I would never walk home.

But like I said, they would never take my plate away no matter what. I simply wouldn’t let them. I’m at a higher status then a simple street cop. They report to me if anything.

Lol, Sweet! But what does that mean?
