Gas Brand??? - Who gets your $$$$???

Just wondering what brand gets your $$$$ for premium gas??

Petro Can?
Husky?
Shell?
Esso?
Other???

And have you found a difference from one brand of gas to another??

this has been discussed a million times. the concensus is
if your car needs 94, sunoco (or conglomerate)
if you need 91, shell.

No differences between gases, I buy the cheapest which is Ultramar, I can't stand the B.S. I read in some of those other threads, one brand will not make your car perform worse than the other nor is it bad for your car or they would not be allowed to sell it in Canada. That said, if your car requires a certain octane then use that. Pre chip my car required 87 so that's what I used, with Mark D chip it requires 91 octane so that's what I use now. I've never had a problem with any brand of gas, both performance wise and longevity of the vehicle. Most of the hype is people getting swayed by effective marketing, that's it.

The stuff you get from the pumps is water with an additive to make it smell funny, it makes my car run like it's a 4 cyl. I only run VP 109 race fuel.

Depends if you want to be burning ethanol/money. I use Shell 91 no ethanol. I have not had the luxury to be able to use 87 for a long time, so I have no idea about that.

I use Shell only. They have the least amount of ethanol.
