Blower motor

The fan doesn't turn on at all, i've visually inspected the wires so the only thing left is the blower itself correct?

try the resistor; reach down below the motor housing in the center. You'll find or see a brown or blue plastic piece which you need to pull up on to get it loose. That is the resistor. change that and you're good to go! if this doesn't work then your blower motor is toast. I've got a couple motors and resistors. pm me if interested.

check to see if u are getting ground/ power at the blower if it was the resistor u would get 4 speed what u don't so it doesn;t need a blower the resistor regulates the current that goes to blow and speed 4 has no resistor

I just replaced my blower resistor and harness on my truck. Not nice to not have heat in the car on these days/nights.

I was able to repair the resistor board for my buddy (fan speed 1-2 weren't working I think)... anyway when I took it out I found that the resistors themselves were still good just the contacts went bad, so I resoldered the resistors and cleaned the contact that closes and all is well.

My blower motor resistor fixed itself. It would only work on 4 and then one day it worked for about an hour and stopped. It kept doing that once a week for a few weeks until finally it started working all the time. My blower motor did stop working though (was completely siezed when I bought the vehicle and never sounded quite right after that).
