Got myself an xmas gift

Ended up finding a nice deal on this 40" Toshiba for my room. 1080p, i didn't want 120 Hz, as i don't really like how crisp picture looks with it.
Otherwise TV is amazing, and the reviews were really good so far.

Listed for 499 at best buy... Canada computers had a one day sale for 429.99.

So I went to canadian tire, price matched with CC, and there was one TV left. I got it for 429.99, and then 10% of the lowest price i got in canadian tire money. So i got 43$ to shop at canadian tire with the purchase of the TV.

Overall pretty sick deal if you consider CT money real money.

Then got a home theatre from zellers midnight sale - they sold out right away was 299.99 got it for 130$

it PUMPS, 600 watts, i love it for that price. The 300 watt system is 199 at best buy lol.

tv looks good, that reciever, does it have co-ax in? or 6channel in? what do you watch tv/play games on?

The reciver just has the plugs for the speakers and sub, has one HDMI , as well as the audio video (3 slots red yellow white)

I have a ps3 hooked up, and can use the pc for movies (using ps3 media server program) to detect the pc on the ps3 and it transcodes all the movies so it can be played on ps3..

however if you are going through wireless you will have a problem playing 720 and 1080p movies due to wireless lag, so best bet is hooking the ps3 up to actual router and using the program

TV wise i don't really watch tv, so i don't need a box. If i do i have it in living room or ATDHE.net i use for streaming nba / nhl games =)

I bought it at costco thou for $369 and it was the 1000w system
