yeah I know cause you picked it up from me!!!! but my heater core isn't failing. I tested the replacement before installing it. :-) Pretty sure it's the 80 thermostat which needs to be there.

latest addition as of 2013-Gold 87-325is auto! it's a keeper!

Until you change it toss a piece of cardboard in front of the rad, it will help some. If you see the temps too hot, cut a 2" hole in it.

Drove 1200km with the old 1/8" hole trick after the thermostat seized mostly shut. Started off with a huge piece of cardboard up north, by time I made it south to Ottawa it had a few holes in it. I had nice heat all the way down.
