Perfect song? More like perfect CD. Going for a drive = 30 minute minimum. You need a playlist or a CD. In terms of what the first song would be... that is a very good question lol.
Like dbworld4k said... way to many to choose from. If I'm looking to tear things up I'd probably start off with some thing like

Deftones - Around the Fur

In terms of a whole CD... Deftones - White Pony [Limited Edition Red] is solid, I spent a summer cruising around to that. The newest mastodon album Crack the Skye is another solid choice. If I just want instrumental, some Russian Circles or Ratatat. If I just want to chill and space out... Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon.
Once again... too many to choose from lol.

Pretty much anything from The Trews No Time For Later CD. It was the first CD I put in and played after buying my car. Every time I pop that CD in it just reminds me of the brand new car (at least brand new to me) and how I felt driving it around. lol

Oh so many!!! All depends on the mood, and season; Will Smith Just Cruising and Summertime for nice sunny days. Motorcycle - As the Rush Comes for winter time drifting. Beenie Man is always a classic when in a Bimmer! lol

If I was in the cruising mode, it'd probably be no music at all, windows down. I'd let the symphony of the engine fill the cabin and I'd be satisfied with that.
